Peppercorn Salad

Shredded Red Cabbage

Mixed salad greens (Romaine, Red Leaf, Bibb, Iceberg)

Peppercorn Dressing

Sunflower Seeds

Course Grated Parmesian or Romano Cheese

Toss greens, sunflower seeds and dressing. Sprinkle with cheese.

Muffy's Cauliflower Salad

1 head iceberg lettuce

1 Spanish Onion, thin rings (Optional)

I small bunch of green onions - chopped

Crumbled Bacon

1 cup thinly sliced carrots

1 head califlower, cut up


Dressing

1/4 cup sugar

2 cups mayonnaise

1/3 cup fine grated parmesian cheese


3 cups herb-seasoned croutons (put on last)

Grandma Pattavina's Spaghetti Sauce and Meatballs


Meatballs

1 1/2 lbs ground beef

1/2 to 3/4 cup cooked rice

1 tsp. pepper

2 tsp. salt

3 Tbs. fresh parsley

2 eggs

1/2 to 3/4 cup parmesan cheese

Mix ingredients and form meatballs


Sauce

4 Tbs. olive oil

1 medium onion - chopped

1 Tbs. salt

1/2 tsp. pepper

pinch allspice

2 bay leaves

3 12 oz. cans tomato paste

water to thin

Saute onion in olive oil. Add remaining ingredients. Add enough water to thin but be careful not to make it too watery. Cook until thick (about 2-3 hours).
